After a busy and well supported showing season in the South West, the focus has now been on the recent flock competition and making sure our breeding ewes are all set up for a productive spring.
Local Twilight Meeting
A number of members and guests met together near Wadebridge for a flock visit, supper and a chance to look around the Smallholding at Camel Valley Jacobs. Thank you Katie for feeding us so well and for the various other culinary and liquid contributions.
It would be great to meet locally at other flocks across the region in 2024. Please contact me if would be happy to provide a venue and we will support with the arrangements.

AGM and Open Day June 2024
We are planning a South West AGM and Open Day on Sunday 23 June near Launceston. Thank you Steve and Clair Cornelius for offering to host. Further details about the programme will be circulated in the new year.
Flock Competition
Jean Simmons joined members from the South West at the Fox and Hounds Hotel on Dartmoor, despite the unwelcome attentions of Storm Babet, to announce the results from the recent regional Flock Competition judged by Jean and Kay Carpenter.. Results are published below. Particular congratulations to Josh Quant who was crowned as champion for 2023 for his very impressive Redlands Flock.
