NEW REGIONAL COUNCIL MEMBER FOR THE EASTERN REGION

The Jacob Sheep Society Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Charlie Coe as the new Regional Council Member for the Eastern Region. Charlie farms around 100 acres with his father, David, at Great Wenham in Suffolk where they run a suckler herd of pedigree Longhorns and Northern Dairy Shorthorns as well as flocks of pedigree Jacobs, Wensleydales and Whitefaced Dartmoors.

Home grown cereals are fed in the beef finishing yards to locally sourced store cattle.  Charlie is a Harper Adams graduate and was a founder member of Hadleigh Young Farmers Club some years ago. He regularly shows his sheep with great success and won the Interbreed Best Trimmed Championship at the Royal Norfolk Show last year.
